  Amend Article 3 – Governing Bodies:

 

10. Remove Director of each division and add Director at Large (one position)–Duties to include regular meetings with all divisional directors, advise divisional directors, act as liaison with the executive, vote on all matters presented during meetings of the executive.

 

Appointed positions (without voting privileges):

 

(c) Divisional Directors (Initiation, Novice, Atom, Pee Wee, Bantam, Midget, Female)

Article 8 – Technical Director Concept:

 

It is recognized by the Association that where sufficient funds are available (to be reviewed on an annual basis) a Technical Director be hired to create and administer a hockey skills program to all house league players registered with the association.

 

Remuneration for the position is to be negotiated on an annual basis by the elected executive.

Article #12 – Rep Team Participation:

 

The association recognizes that all Rep Teams are to be selected by an unbiased selection process involving at least three people. The committee should be made up of the head coach of the team and two people from outside the division. The assistant coach can also serve on the committee. No parent of a player (except the coach and assistant coach) trying out for the team can serve on the committee.

 

All players wishing to participate in Rep team play must play with the team they are selected for. If they do not wish to play with that team they will only qualify for House-league play.

 

Article #13 Constitutional and By-law Review:

 

A committee to be formed every two years to review necessary changes to the association’s constitution and by-laws.
